It is unfortunate that Spring Break belongs only to the realm of the student and not to everyone. Despite no longer being in school, I still like to daydream about a week away from winter and the doldrums of everyday life. This week's IFB Project asks bloggers to imagine the perfect Spring Break, complete with wardrobe.
I have always loved the beach, and the one and only cruise I took (a family trip complete with grandparents and cousins) left an indelible impression on me. Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, and Barbados cemented my love for sandy beaches and turquoise waters.
I love packing for trips and have been known to start stuffing my bags weeks before departure. After all, I must pack clothes, makeup, and books to get me through any situation. A retro-style swimsuit and flowy maxi dress would be perfect for a day at the beach and a night on the town. Bonus points for choosing vibrant blues and greens that compliment the tropical surroundings. Since a trip to the Caribbean wont be happening anytime soon, I will just have satisfy my travel hunger with a marathon of Pirates of the Caribbean and a selection of Demeter scents in Ocean, Spring Break, and Suntan Lotion.

ReplyDeleteMy dream Spring Break looks absolutely nothing like this past one. Bah! I ended up getting sick these past couple of days, which was the perfect ending to a boring break. But we made a trip to the zoo, so that helped! :)
